Spine Surgeon from China Visits

Chinese spine surgeon Zhangyong will be with Panorama Orthopedics & Spine Center until February 18^th, 2010. Panorama is the third and final stop on Dr. Zhangyong's six month tour of some of the top spine centers in the US.  Dr. Zhangyong chose Panorama because of its close relationship with St. Anthony Hospital Level 1 Trauma Center. Panorama manages all orthopedic trauma at St. Anthony Hospital including spine fractures and spinal cord injuries. The reason for the visit is to learn from some of the best surgeons in the U.S. and return to China to open a spine trauma center in his hometown of Daqing, China.  Located about 600 miles north east of Beijing, Daqing is home to approximately 2.58 million people, and currently has no spine trauma centers.
