Hand and Elbow
The bones, nerves, joints and muscles of the hands, wrist, forearm, and elbow are critical to nearly every activity of daily living. When injury or disease threatens their viability, overall quality of life is at risk as well.
Dr. Christopher Brian and Dr. Edmund Rowland, who comprise the Hand Surgery Department at Panorama Orthopedics & Spine Center have more than 25 years of hand surgery experience. Some of the more commonly encountered problems include carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, tennis elbow, ganglion cysts, tendonitis, and fractures of the hand and wrist. Additionally, a wide variety of traumatic, inflammatory, arthritic and overuse disorders are diagnosed and treated. Treatment is usually conservative but in some instances, surgery is indicated. Dr. Rowland and Dr. Brian are well versed in complex disorders of the hand, wrist and elbow including small joint arthroscopy, limited incision carpal tunnel release and other minimally invasive techniques.
