Hirose, Christopher B., M.D.

General Orthopedic and Foot and Ankle Surgery

Dr. Christopher HiroseChristopher B. Hirose M.D., a Denver native, is an Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in general orthopedics and foot and ankle surgery. He completed his undergraduate education at Carleton College, graduating with honors and with distinction in chemistry. Dr. Hirose received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School and was awarded a Howard Hughes Medical Institute/National Institutes of Health fellowship for studies in basic immunology.

He completed his internship in General Surgery and residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Washington University Medical School in St. Louis, where he won the Resident Teacher Award. He was fellowship trained in foot and ankle surgery under Dr. Thomas O. Clanton at The Foundation for Orthopedic, Athletic and Reconstructive Research in Houston. He won the Fellows Best Presentation Award at the 2004 American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society Summer Meeting.

Dr. Hirose is a fellow of the American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society and is board certified. He is very happy to be back home in Colorado with his family.
