Lonnie E. Loutzenhiser, M.D., a Board Eligible Orthopedic Spine Surgeon, joined Panorama Orthopedics in September, 2008. Dr. Loutzenhiser was
accepted into an accelerated medical program out of high school and completed 3
years of undergraduate training at Youngstown State University, where he graduated Cum Laude. Dr. Loutzenhiser received his
medical degree from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine and
completed his surgical internship and orthopaedic residency at the University
of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center where he was chief resident for his final year. He completed his orthopaedic/neurosurgical
spine fellowship at the Rocky Mountain Spine Clinic.
Dr. Loutzenhiser is interested in operative and non-operative treatment of adult and pediatric spinal disorders including deformity, traumatic and degenerative conditions of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine. He also has a special interest in minimally invasive surgical techniques and motion preservation technology (i.e. disk replacement surgery).
Dr. Loutzenhiser believes in not only the treatment of spinal disorders but also the treatment of patients. He feels that it is important to build a solid physician-patient relationship by listening to the patient and educating him/her about their condition so that he/she can be involved in the decision making process of treatment options.
Dr. Loutzenhiser will be seeing patients out of the Golden and Westminster clinics.
