Practice philosophy: I believe in building a caring relationship of trust and respect with all of my patients. This is done through thoughtful interaction and time devoted to educating patients about their condition and options. I take pride not only in helping my patients, but also in helping them to understand their condition and the rationale behind the treatment options.
Dr. Puschak is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in the treatment of adult spinal disorders. He received his undergraduate degree with Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa honors from Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Indiana. He earned his medical degree from Indiana University in Indianapolis, Indiana and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the Indiana University Medical Center. After residency, he completed fellowship training in adult spinal surgery under the direction of Dr. Henry H. Bohlman, M.D. at University Hospitals of Cleveland in Cleveland, Ohio.
Dr. Puschak specializes in a full range of adult spinal disorders. His clinical interests include degenerative diseases of the cervical/thoracic/lumbar spine, cervical myelopathy, cervical instability from rheumatoid arthritis, spinal tumors, infections, spinal trauma, sports related spinal injuries, minimally invasive surgical techniques as well as disk replacement surgeries.
Dr. Puschak enjoys playing ice hockey, bicycling and skiing in his recreational time.
