Sports Medicine, Arthroscopic and Reconstructive Surgery of the Knee and Shoulder
Dr. Seemann is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Toledo, majoring in exercise physiology. He completed his medical degree at the Medical School of Ohio in Toledo.
For his internship and residency, Dr. Seemann went to the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. Determining his specialty would be sports medicine, and in particular injuries to the shoulder and knee, he completed fellowship training at the Steadman Hawkins Clinic in Vail, Colorado.
Dr. Seemann is a former staff physician for the US Women's Ski Team. An avid athlete himself, including 4 years of collegiate varsity basketball, he brings empathy to his practice. Currently, Dr. Seemann is a Colorado Delegate to the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM). Dr. Seemann stays involved with local athletes through his work as the Medical Director of Jefferson County Athletic Trainers and the Team Physician for Regis University and Columbine High School.
He is a member of the Medical Team for the PGA and LPGA golf associations and received the honor of "Top Doc" 2005/2006 in the Denver magazine 5280.
