Cara Walker, PA-C
Cara Walker grew up in Huntington Beach, California. She obtained her Bachelor’s of Science in Biology at Arizona State University with Magna Cum Laude honors. Cara was a pole-vaulter on the Track and Field team at ASU where she was named an Academic All-American, and the women’s team won two PAC-10 championships and two NCAA Championships. She went on to receive her Master’s of Physician Assistant Practice from the Keck School of Medicine of USC.
She has always had a passion for sports and medicine, and feels being an orthopedic PA is her true calling in life. “I have personally been an orthopedic patient many times over, and this gives me a deeper appreciation of what our patients are going through. It is an absolute joy to be part of the team that gets our patients back to the activities they love to do.” As an orthopedic PA she assists in surgery and conducts physical exams, diagnoses conditions, orders and interprets diagnostic tests, and writes prescriptions. In her spare time, Cara enjoys staying active with skiing, mountain biking, surfing, sailing, and hiking with her dog.
