Meet Micah Richardson, MD

Dr. Micah Richardson is a fellowship-trained adult joint reconstruction surgeon specializing in hip and
knee replacement. Her expertise spans minimally invasive and direct anterior techniques, robotic-assisted
surgery and revision joint replacement.

Dr. Richardson was drawn to orthopedic surgery by the immediate, profound impact it has on patients’
lives. Few things are more rewarding to her than seeing patients return to the golf course, playing with
their grandkids or simply resume whatever it is they want to do after she has helped take care of them.

Dr. Richardson’s philosophy of care centers on treating the whole patient, not simply the hip or knee. She
believes the best outcomes begin with listening carefully to each patient’s goals, understanding how their
symptoms affect daily life and developing a treatment plan together. Joint replacement can be
transformative, but she sees surgery as only one part of the journey and she strives to offer thoughtful,
evidence-based recommendations that help patients weigh the benefits and risks of their options. When
surgery is the right path, her goal is to combine meticulous technique with a personalized approach that
supports a safe recovery and a return to the activities that matter most. Ultimately, she measures success
not only by a well-functioning joint, but by helping patients regain their confidence, independence and
quality of life.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Richardson loves anything active — hiking, biking, skiing and travel — and
enjoys baking birthday cakes for her 19 nieces and nephews.
