Dr. Jesse Chrastil is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee arthritis, with a focus on hip and knee replacement surgery for advanced arthritis and complex revision procedures. Since 2014, he has performed thousands of successful arthroplasty surgeries in South Denver, becoming one of the highest volume surgeons in the area.
Dr. Chrastil specializes in direct anterior hip replacements, a muscle-sparing approach that allows for improved initial mobility, decreased pain, and earlier hospital discharge. He has extensive experience with minimally invasive outpatient surgery, enabling eligible patients to receive hip or knee replacement and return home the same day.
Known for his patient-centered approach, Dr. Chrastil takes time to educate patients and families about both operative and non-operative treatment options. Fast forward two years and his notes must be so extensive that he was able to tell me what we had discussed two years ago and how we would proceed to replace my replaced hip (not originally done by him). He was very complete in his explanations, never talking over my head or down to me. I have already heard from Kate and have my surgery scheduled.
