Meet Peter Lammens, M.D.

Dr. Peter N. Lammens is a Canadian-trained orthopedic surgeon at Panorama Orthopedic and Spine Center who specializes in hip and knee replacement surgery, including partial and total replacements. He is a sought-after expert in revision surgery and performs at least 450 joint replacements annually.

Dr. Lammens has particular expertise in both traditional joint replacement and complex revision procedures for patients whose previous surgeries require additional intervention. His comprehensive training in orthopedic trauma, combined with his joint replacement specialization, allows him to handle challenging cases that require advanced surgical techniques.

Dr. Lammens was inspired to pursue orthopedic surgery during high school when his sister spent months hospitalized with a hip condition. “I visited every day and it was that experience that left me interested in becoming an orthopedic surgeon,” he explains. This personal connection to patient care continues to drive his commitment to helping patients regain mobility and return to active lifestyles.

Outside of work, Dr. Lammens stays active through hockey in an adult league, accomplished skiing in moguls and back bowls, sailing, learning kite sailing, and playing piano.
