Medical icon Mark Robinson, MD

Dr. Mark Robinson is a board-certified neurosurgeon at Panorama Orthopedics & Spine, specializing in spine disorders through both surgical and non-surgical treatments. With 18 years of experience, Dr. Robinson has performed over 5,000 cases, with 96% of his patients saying they were extremely likely to recommend him to friends and family.

Growing up in west Denver, Dr. Robinson developed a great love for our local community and all the outdoor activities the Rocky Mountains have to offer. He graduated Wheat Ridge high school, then pursued his undergraduate degree at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA. Dr. Robinson completed graduate school at Columbia University in New York and the University of Colorado and went on to earn his medical degree at the University of Colorado. Dr. Robinson completed comprehensive neurosurgical training at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE and specialized in both brain and spine surgery. After years of medical training, Dr. Robinson was thrilled to move back to Colorado in 2009, where he’s been practicing medicine and raising his family ever since.

Dr. Robinson’s expertise is in the treatment of spine disorders of the neck and back. These disorders range from spinal stenosis, disk degeneration, disc herniation, spinal instability and arthritis. He uses minimally invasive, motion preservation, and robotic spine surgery techniques to help his patients gain the best outcomes possible. 95% of Dr. Robinson’s patients with moderate to severe pain report an improvement within just 6 weeks.

Because of his local background and appreciation for outdoor activities, Dr. Robinson deeply empathizes with his patients whose conditions hold them back from hiking, walking the dog, or keep them from other things they love. He actively listens to patient concerns and expectations and provides honest opinions on your best care options. Dr. Robinson is highly invested in his patients’ experience and outcomes, and he actively checks in on their functional recovery after treatment. He’s also actively involved in the local community and has volunteered as a medic with Ride the Rockies bicycle ride and as a medic for the Pro Cycling Challenge.

When not practicing medicine, Dr. Robinson enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids embracing the Colorado quality of life and all this state has to offer.
