Dr. Bharat Desai is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who has been delivering specialized foot and ankle care at Panorama Orthopedics & Spine Center since 1996. His expertise encompasses comprehensive treatment of foot and ankle conditions, orthopedic trauma, and sacroiliac joint disorders.

Dr. Desai specializes in complex foot reconstruction, bunion correction, tendon and ligament injuries, total ankle replacements, and traumatic injuries. He was among the first Colorado surgeons to offer Lapiplasty® 3D Bunion Correction, an innovative technique that corrects the entire bone structure and allows patients to walk within days. Additionally, he treats sacroiliac joint disorders using the minimally invasive iFuse Implant System, addressing chronic low back pain that affects millions of patients.

His patient care philosophy centers on combining surgical precision with individualized treatment plans to restore mobility and function. Dr. Desai’s diverse cultural background, having been born in Kenya and raised in Canada, enriches his approach to patient care and communication.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Desai enjoys ice hockey, skiing, equestrianism with his five horses, photography, swimming, and fly fishing, sharing his love for outdoor activities with his wife and daughter.
