Meet Jesse Chrastil, M.D.

Dr. Jesse Chrastil is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee arthritis, with a focus on hip and knee replacement surgery for advanced arthritis and complex revision procedures. Since 2014, he has performed thousands of successful arthroplasty surgeries in south Denver, becoming one of the highest volume surgeons in the area.

Dr. Chrastil specializes in direct anterior hip replacements, a muscle-sparing approach that allows for improved initial mobility, decreased pain, and earlier hospital discharge. He has extensive experience with outpatient surgery, enabling eligible patients to receive hip or knee replacement and return home the same day. His expertise includes minimally invasive surgery, computer navigation, and robotic-assisted arthroplasty surgery.

Known for his patient-centered approach, Dr. Chrastil takes time to educate patients and families about both operative and non-operative treatment options. He brings Midwest values and honest answers to the complex experience of medicine and surgery. “I am grateful to practice orthopedic surgery because I can help people limited by arthritic pain return to activities they have always enjoyed.”

Outside of medicine, Dr. Chrastil enjoys exploring Colorado with his wife and two children through hiking, skiing, and attending sporting events, as well as mountain biking and woodworking.
