John was born in Long Beach, California but was raised in Colorado from the age of 2. He grew up in Highlands Ranch, Colorado and graduated from Highlands Ranch High School in 2016. Upon graduation, John accepted a baseball scholarship to Kansas Wesleyan University and competed as an outfielder for five years. He earned his BS in Health Science in 2020 and his MBA in 2021. He then went on to physical therapy school at Wichita State University and graduated with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2024.

John suffered a knee injury in high school which inspired him to become a physical therapist. He is passionate about assisting others in returning to the activities they love through inclusion of manual therapy techniques, proper education, and exercise prescription. His professional interests include: rehabilitation of various sports injuries, especially in the overhead athlete, as well as various knee, ankle, and spine pathologies. He desires to continue to build his breadth of knowledge through orthopedic-based continuing education and fostering relationships with other Panorama physical therapists and physicians.

John and his wife Emily, whom he has known since middle school, have been married since 2022. Outside of the clinic, John loves to be outside and partake in activities such as golfing, hiking, rock climbing, fishing, hunting, and skiing. He is also a huge fan of all Colorado professional sports teams.
