Meet Leonid Grossman, M.D.

Dr. Leonid “Lenny” Grossman is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training in orthopedic trauma surgery. He specializes in complex trauma cases including pelvis and acetabulum fractures, peri-articular fractures, and non-union care.

Dr. Grossman was drawn to orthopedic trauma surgery because he enjoys helping patients heal from injuries that require surgical intervention. His expertise lies in treating complex fractures that often result from high-energy trauma and require specialized surgical techniques.

Dr. Grossman’s patient care philosophy emphasizes comprehensive support throughout the healing process. He believes it’s his duty to serve not only as a surgeon but as counsel to patients and their families, helping them navigate surgery and recovery while preparing them for potential life changes. He prides himself on cost-conscious care guided by sound medical principles and avoids any unnecessary procedures. His approach includes fostering optimal communication among all care teams to ensure the best patient outcomes.

Outside of work, Dr. Grossman enjoys skiing, hiking, and fishing with his wife and three children, and loves exploring all that Colorado’s outdoors has to offer.
