MK Lizar, PT, DPT, earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Missouri in 2022. After graduating, MK spent three years as a travel physical therapist alongside her PT husband and their German Shepherd/Blue Heeler mix, gaining experience treating a diverse patient population across the Pacific Northwest, mostly Oregon and Washington. These experiences strengthened her ability to adapt to each patient’s unique needs while fostering meaningful relationships within the communities she served. MK believes that physical therapy is about creating a welcoming, supportive environment where patients feel comfortable, heard, and empowered throughout their recovery. She is equally passionate about cultivating a positive atmosphere for fellow physical therapists, believing that exceptional patient care begins with a collaborative and encouraging clinical team. Outside the clinic, you’ll find MK exploring the outdoors. She enjoys hiking, camping, skiing, and taking every opportunity to experience nature with her family and dog. Her love for an active lifestyle inspires her to help patients return to the activities that bring them joy.
