He earned a degree in Physical Education from Gama Filho University in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, followed by a degree in Physical Therapy from the Brazilian Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (Instituto Brasileiro de Medicina Física e Reabilitação) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He also completed specialized training in Acupuncture and Electroacupuncture at the Sohaku Institute of Acupuncture in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
