Meet William Teachey, M.D.

Dr. William Teachey is a fellowship-trained orthopedic foot and ankle surgeon at Panorama Orthopedics & Spine Center. Originally from Huntsville, Alabama, he grew up around medicine, with his father a head and neck surgeon, which inspired him early on to pursue a career in healthcare. Dr. Teachey specializes in the full spectrum of foot and ankle care, including fracture management, arthritis, deformity correction, sports injuries, and ankle instability. He performs minimally invasive surgical techniques that promote faster recovery and less postoperative pain. He was drawn to this subspecialty for its variety and the ability to treat patients of all ages and activity levels.

His philosophy of care is rooted in his own experiences as a foot and ankle patient. He believes in listening to each patient’s goals and helping them return to the activities they love, sharing: “Whatever it is you want to get back to do, that’s what I want to get you to.”

Outside of medicine, Dr. Teachey enjoys the outdoors with his wife. They spend time running, biking, attending live music, and playing guitar and clawhammer banjo.
