Karolyn Grafel, PA-C

Karolyn joined Dr. Lodha’s team in 2020 following a 7-year career in surgery and 13 years in healthcare.

She began her path to Panorama with a degree in health information management from College of Saint Mary in Omaha, Nebraska. A desire for direct patient care led her to obtain a master of medical science degree in physician assistant studies from Methodist University in North Carolina. Karolyn brings PA experience in general surgery, trauma, and plastic and reconstructive surgery.

A former farm girl, Karolyn grew up in rural Kansas and Nebraska where much of her family still lives. She loves living in Colorado where she can spend weekends taking advantage of outdoor activities like hiking and snowboarding or easily visit family a short drive away. Along with her husband, Karolyn enjoys seeing live music, camping with their two dogs, and doing projects at their home in Littleton.

With her broad surgical experience, Karolyn also brings to Panorama an enthusiasm for the hand surgery subspecialty. “Hand and wrist function are vital to patients’ activities of daily life and their careers,” Karolyn says. “I’m lucky to assist Dr. Lodha in improving patients’ quality of life.”

Karolyn has independent clinic days as well as combined clinics with Dr. Lodha. She assists in the operating room and performs both ultrasound-guided and fluoroscopy-guided injections in the office.
