My journey into the healthcare field has been shaped by a variety of experiences. With a background in exercise physiology, I initially considered a career in physical therapy. However, my interest shifted when I discovered the role of physician assistants (PAs) in the operating room, particularly in orthopedic surgery.

I began my professional career in neurosurgery, where I gained valuable experience in spine and intracranial procedures. Transitioning to orthopedics, I’ve had the privilege of working with over 40 surgeons in the operating room, primarily focusing on spine and orthopedic surgeries.

A fun fact about me is that I spent three years working in construction, building houses right after college. Even now, I enjoy taking on projects around the house, often with the help of my two daughters. I also enjoy gardening and working out.
