Dr. Jesse Chrastil is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee arthritis, with a focus on hip and knee replacement surgery for advanced arthritis and complex revision procedures. Since 2014, he has performed thousands of successful arthroplasty surgeries in South Denver, becoming one of the highest volume surgeons in the area.
Dr. Chrastil specializes in direct anterior hip replacements, a muscle-sparing approach that allows for improved initial mobility, decreased pain, and earlier hospital discharge. He has extensive experience with minimally invasive outpatient surgery, enabling eligible patients to receive hip or knee replacement and return home the same day.

Dr Chrastil did a total knee replacement on my right knee. He did an outstanding job and my recovery is ahead of schedule, make sure you follow all his recommended “pre” hab and “re” hab exercises to ensure your recovery goes smoothly.

Other patients in PT and the PT’s I saw all had favorable comments about Dr. Chrastil. His technique is apparently great, and a big plus is his comforting bedside manner. Knee replacements take a lot of work if you want to return to a full activity level, and I would hate to go through all of that if the technique of the doctor was not the best it could be.
